TENTO PROJEKT JE
SPOLUFINANCOVÁN EVROPSKÝM SOCIÁLNÍM
FONDEM A STÁTNÍM
ROZPOČTEM ČESKÉ
REPUBLIKY.
 

The association “Somatopedická společnost” is a professionally oriented non-governmental organisation, which was founded in 1991. It traditionally gathers professionals from schools and school facilities in the Czech Republic who work in the area of educating children and youth with physical impairment, who are chronically ill or who have health impairment with the main aim to provide complex rehabilitation care for these children and students.
Currently the association consists of more than 220 members. The Association is registered at Vídeňská 800, 140 59 Praha 4, the Czech Republic.

Somatopedická společnost,o.s. was awarded with support from the operational program Education for competitiveness (OPVK) prior axis 1 Initial education, the support area 1.2 Equal opportunities for children and students, including children and students with special educational needs, funded by the European social fund (ESF) and from the Czech Republic education ministry. Due to this support we will carry out the following projects between 2010 to 2013:

CZ.1.07/1.2.00/14.0125 Models of Inclusive practice at mainstream schools

Both projects are focused on mainstream educators´ professional preparation throughout all regions in the Czech Republic for fully individualized support of educational needs of students with different abilities and dispositions implemented by the Associations team. The focus is also on developing generally utilizable models of inclusive education in mainstream schools, optimization of school social climate, reinforcing school professional’s capacity in order to create internal systems of inclusive methodical support and interiorize inclusively oriented counselling services provided to students and their families.
